WHO CAN JOIN?
- Open to all dance groups, with members 18 years old and above at the time of registration.
- Each group must have a minimum of 4 members and a maximum of 8 members.
- Each group is required to have at least one active social media account on TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram.
- All groups must follow Hotel Sogo’s official social media accounts:
- Facebook: Hotel Sogo
- Instagram: @hotelsogo
- TikTok: @hotelsogo.official
- Only one (1) entry per group is allowed.
HOW TO JOIN
- Groups may register through any of the following:
a. By filling out the official registration form available through Hotel Sogo’s official social media pages.
b. By visiting any Hotel Sogo branch nationwide, scanning the designated QR code, and registering with the assistance of Hotel Sogo staff. - During registration, groups must submit the link to their officially posted dance video entry.
- Registration will be open until 11:59 PM of December 10, 2025. Late entries will not be accepted.
Entry Submission Requirements
- Each entry must consist of a dance video with the following specifications:
- Duration: 30 to 60 seconds only.
- Content: Must feature original, high-energy choreography performed by the registered group.
- Standard: Content must be fun, creative, and family-friendly.
- The entry video must be uploaded on either TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram.
- The entry must include the following official caption verbatim: “We’re joining the SOGO DANCE REVOLUTION! Support our entry by liking and sharing!
#SogoDanceRevolution #HotelSogo #SogoDanceShowdown” - Each post must:
- Tag: Hotel Sogo (official accounts on chosen platform).
- Be set to Public visibility.
Contest Reminders
- Incomplete, non-compliant, or duplicate entries will be automatically disqualified.
- By joining, participants grant Hotel Sogo the right to use submitted videos, names, and images for contest promotion without additional compensation.
- The Top Entries will be selected to advance to the Grand Finals Live Show.
- Official list of finalists will be announced only on Hotel Sogo’s verified social media accounts.
- Qualified groups must perform live at the Grand Finals Event.
Grand Finals Event
- The Grand Finals Live Show will take place on December 19, 2025. The venue will be announced soon (TBA).
- Qualified dance groups will perform live on stage during the event.
- A panel of three (3) official judges appointed by Hotel Sogo will evaluate the live performances using the judging criteria.
- The winners will be determined during the Grand Finals event and announced at the conclusion of the program.
Judging and Selection of Winners
- Both online entries (pre-qualifiers) and live Grand Finals performances will be judged using the following criteria and weights:

- Judging during the Grand Finals will be conducted by three (3) official judges.
- Decisions of the judges are final and binding in all matters related to this contest.

Prizes
Champion:
₱50,000 cash + ₱50,000 worth of Staycation Package (valid in all Hotel Sogo branches nationwide) + Official Hotel Sogo Dance Ambassadorship
2nd Place:
₱30,000 cash + ₱30,000 worth of Staycation Package
3rd Place:
₱20,000 cash + ₱10,000 worth of Staycation Package
Special Award – Most Engaged Group:
₱20,000 (based on the highest number of TikTok shares)
“All cash prizes are net of applicable taxes, with the VAT on the cash prize shouldered by Hotel Sogo.”
Announcement and Claiming of Prizes
- Winners will be formally announced during the Grand Finals Event and posted on Hotel Sogo’s official social media pages within seven (7) days.
- Winners will be notified via direct message and official announcement posts.
- Winners must present the following to claim prizes:
- Valid government-issued IDs of all group members.
- A copy of the original video entry post and confirmation of registration.
- Prizes are non-transferable and not convertible to other items.
- Winners may claim prizes at the Hotel Sogo Head Office, #629 EDSA Cubao, Quezon City, within sixty (60) days from official announcement. Unclaimed prizes after the prescribed period shall be forfeited in favor of Hotel Sogo with prior DTI approval.
